As the holiday season rapidly approaches, so does the disparity of families with less to look forward to during this time. 

GenWEL is committed to helping people year-round; although, the lack of the basics for many (warm coats, winter shoes, essential winter clothing, food, etc.) – which most tend to overlook – provide an opportunity for us ALL to put our best feet forward and extend some grace.

For Winter 2021, our “GiftWEL Holiday Hands” initiative vows to help families and individuals with varying needs to achieve a much-needed respite from the complexities the season may reveal.  Whether it be clothing, serving food to those with food insecurities, gifts to children to promote confidence, or even financial assistance in special cases, “GiftWEL Holiday Hands” are dedicated to seeing that all whom we encounter have a lasting memory that encourages them to see the future as brightly as we do.
